EXPERTO was founded by Irena Etinger Wainshtein in 2020 to promote collaboration and venture between the public & private sectors (PPP) in Israel and abroad. Irena holds an M.A in Law from Bar Ilan University, and a B.A in Politics and Government from Ben-Gurion University of the Negev.
Irena has 17 years of extensive experience working in the public sector in senior positions, including managing budgets of billions of shekels.
In her previous capacity as Deputy Director General of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development, she took part in formulating the Ministry's policy with a budget scope of 2 billion NIS. Mrs. Etinger conducted negotiations to promote reforms in the agricultural sectors, led and implemented government decisions, including ministerial and inter-ministerial projects. Also, promoted reforms and investment programs in the agricultural sector and was responsible for building a strategy for international cooperation in the field of agriculture and innovation.
As senior director at the Israeli Government Tourist Cooperation, Mrs. Etinger has led high-budget tourism projects in local authorities in cooperation with various government bodies, the Ministry of Defense, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Ministry of Tourism, the Ministry of Agriculture, the Ministry of Transport and the JNF.
